As I may have mentioned before, any food place which has the macronutrient breakdown of their food generally has me sold. I spotted a small place just opposite the Peace Gardens in the city centre called 'Nourish'. The little corner lot is very simply decked out with a large refridgerator section and minimal seating tending to the pick-up-and-go nature of the place. I had a quick browse through their food to-go options which had a decent selection of salad bowls, packed wraps and sandwichs - all labelled with their macros. All their options are made fresh everyday on site from their kitchen, which you can see from the cashier counter.

I grabbed a quick 'Gym bowl' - a very simple salad with the basic intention to refuel; solid protein, low gi carbs & healthy fats. A mixed salad with brocolli, their handmade Nourish falafel, sliced chicken breast, halved eggs, garnished with sun-dried tomato and peppers. Not the most adventurous picks from what they had to offer, but nice to know it was something quick and clean. It's very much a meal-prepped bowl for people on the go to pick up if they're in a rush.
