A quick no frills recipe for a batch of soft melting cookies. Clean ingredients, healthy fats, natural sugars... none of that cookie-guilt business.

You're gonna need //

Ingredients:

(makes 9 servings)

100g banana

75g rolled oats

55g peanutbutter

1 tsp vanilla extract

pinch of salt

cinnamon

Method:

01. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

02. Break up the banana and mash together with the peanutbutter in a bowl. When combined together, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract, a dash of salt and cinnamon to the mix. Gently begin to fold the oats into the mix until well combined together.

03. Prepare a sheet of grease-proof paper and place on a tray. With a teaspoon, shape the mix into individual dollops (measurements given make 9 servings) and place them spaced out on the tray. Gently press each dollop to flatten each cookie softly.

04. Place try in the oven for 14-16 minutes.. watch for the oats browning at the edges. When lightly brown and still slightly soft, remove from the oven and allow to cool.

Eat and enjoy them warm while the centres are still melting nicely, or pack away and save for random quick treats.
