Seasoned turkey burgers _ eat

Burgers, the American classic. Here's a quick trimmer version by just switching beef to turkey. With this turkey burger recipe, you can mix it up and get grilling in just a couple of easy steps. Make it personal by stacking high your own choice of trimmings and toppings.

You're gonna need

(makes 8 burgers)
400g turkey mince
175g vegetable fajita kit
1 egg
smoked paprika
garlic powder
'Thins' white bread squares
(All available from Aldi stores)
Method:

01. Take about 175 grams of the vegetable mixed and finely chop into pieces. In a bowl, add the chopped vegetable and turkey mince together. Crack an egg into the bowl and begin to add seasoning to the mix - paprika, garlic powder, mixed herbs, salt and pepper.

02. Hand mix and combine the ingredients in the bowl together until a thoroughly mixed. Take about a handful of the mix and begin to shape a burger patty - the entire recipe given makes roughly 8 hand-sized burgers.

03. Heat a frying pan and spray some oil. Place the patties on the pan when hot and allow to cook until they begin to brown. Flip the burger patties and ensure they cooked through.
Serve the turkey patties with toasted white thins and gladly pile on any additional veggies or any condiments you wish. For a low carb version, wrap the patties in large lettuce leaf for a crunch.
