If you're looking for a cheeky brunch packed with protein, then this recipe for protein French Toast is perfect for you. This breakfast or brunch dish is quick and easy, certain to satisfy any sweet tooth.

What you're gonna need // ingredients:
2 Slices wholemeal bread
1 egg
1 scoop whey (Quest Vanilla used in this case, 28g)
Toppings suggestion:
Banana
Cinnamon
Waldens Farm - caramel syrup or pancake syrup
Method:

01: Grab a deep enough plate/dish that you'll be able to soak a slice of bread in. Crack the egg into the dish and whisk. Add the scoop of whey and some water, begin to mix together until you get a silky texture that the bread will be able to soak up. Lay the slice of bread in the dish and flip both sides. Allow the bread to sit for a few minutes to soak up the mix.

02. Heat a frying pan and lightly spray it with oil to keep the bread from sticking. When sizzling, take a spatula and place the soaked bread on the pan. Allow the bread to cook until nicely light brown and flip to ther other side and repeat. When done, serve and enjoy with endless toppings to taste.
